1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using Majordome ("the App", "we", "us", "our"), you accept and agree to be bound by and comply with these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Use License and Restrictions

Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of the materials (information or software) on Majordome for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

• Modifying or copying the materials (including HTML or other content)
• Using the materials for any commercial purpose or for any public display (commercial or non-commercial)
• Attempting to decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or undermining any technological measures, encryption, or security features of the App
• Removing any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials on the App
• Transferring the materials to another person or "mirroring" the materials on any other server
• Violating any applicable laws or regulations while using the App
• Using the App to harass, abuse, or harm others, or to promote discrimination or violence
• Collecting or tracking personal information of others without consent
• Sending spam, chain letters, or unsolicited promotional material
• Impersonating or misrepresenting your identity or affiliation with any person or entity

Breach of any of these restrictions will result in immediate and automatic termination of your license to use the App.

3. Disclaimer of Warranties

The materials on Majordome are provided on an 'as is' basis. Majordome makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights.

Further, Majordome does not warrant or make any representations concerning the accuracy, likely results, or reliability of the use of the materials on its Internet web site or otherwise relating to such materials or on any sites linked to this site.

4. Limitations of Liability

In no event shall Majordome or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on Majordome, even if Majordome or an authorized representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage.

Because some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties, or limitations of liability for consequential or incidental damages, these limitations may not apply to you.

5. Accuracy of Materials

The materials appearing on Majordome could include technical, typographical, or photographic errors. Majordome does not warrant that any of the materials on Majordome are accurate, complete, or current. Majordome may make changes to the materials contained on Majordome at any time without notice. However, Majordome does not commit to updating the materials.

6. Links and Third-Party Content

Majordome has not reviewed all of the sites linked to its website and is not responsible for the contents of any such linked site. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by Majordome of the site. Use of any such linked website is at the user's own risk.

Any third-party content accessed through the App is provided by third parties and is subject to their terms and privacy policies. Majordome is not responsible for third-party content.

7. Modifications to Terms

Majordome may revise these Terms of Service for its website at any time without notice. By using this website, you are agreeing to be bound by the then current version of these Terms of Service.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions and any separate agreements we provide to use services on Majordome are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that location.

9. User Content

9.1 Your Responsibility

You are responsible for all content you post, upload, or submit to Majordome, including messages, files, and profile information ("User Content"). You warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to User Content and that posting it does not violate any third-party rights.

9.2 License to Majordome

By posting User Content to Majordome, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, and display your User Content in connection with providing the App and its services.

9.3 Prohibited Content

User Content must not:

• Contain illegal material or content that violates any applicable laws
• Promote violence, harassment, discrimination, or hate speech
• Contain sexually explicit or obscene material
• Contain, solicit, promote, facilitate, or distribute Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE), child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion, trafficking, or any sexualized content involving minors
• Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
• Contain personal information of others without their consent
• Involve deception, fraud, or manipulation
• Contain malware, viruses, or harmful code

9.4 Enforcement and Removal

We have the right (but not the obligation) to monitor, review, and remove any User Content that we believe violates these Terms or any applicable law. We may remove content, suspend or terminate accounts, and report illegal activity to authorities.

10. Account Registration

10.1 Account Requirements

To access certain features of the App, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain the confidentiality of your password
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
• Immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account

10.2 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

10.3 Age Restrictions

The App is not intended for users under 13 years of age (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction). By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are at least 13 years old.

11. Child Safety Standards

Majordome publishes these Child Safety Standards for the Majordome app and the developer name Majordome as displayed on Google Play. Majordome has zero tolerance for Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE), child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion, trafficking, or any sexualized content or conduct involving minors.

Users must not create, upload, request, share, store, promote, facilitate, or attempt to obtain CSAE or CSAM through Majordome. Users must not use Majordome to contact, exploit, coerce, endanger, harass, or sexually solicit a minor.

We may remove content, restrict features, suspend or terminate accounts, preserve relevant information, and report suspected CSAE or CSAM to appropriate authorities or child safety organizations when required or permitted by law.

To report a child safety issue involving Majordome, contact our Child Safety Team at child-safety@majordome.app. This address is monitored for child safety reports and for communications from Google Play about CSAE or CSAM compliance.

12. Community Standards and Conduct

You agree to use the App responsibly and in good faith. You will:

• Treat other users with respect and dignity
• Not engage in harassment, abuse, threatening behavior, or hate speech
• Not attempt to manipulate or deceive other users or the platform
• Not spam or send unsolicited communications to other users
• Not use the App for illegal purposes or to further illegal activity
• Respect the intellectual property rights of others
• Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to Majordome systems or accounts

Violation of these standards may result in warnings, suspension, or permanent termination of your account.

13. Matching and Introductions

13.1 How Matching Works

Majordome uses artificial intelligence to suggest connections between community members based on profiles, interests, and conversations. Matching is algorithmic and not guaranteed to result in successful connections.

13.2 Consent and Control

You have full control over whether you receive matching suggestions. You can opt in or out of matching at any time through your account settings.

13.3 No Guarantee of Success

We do not guarantee that suggested connections will be valuable, will respond, or will result in any business or personal benefit. The outcome of any introduction or connection is the responsibility of the parties involved.

13.4 Your Interactions with Others

Majordome is not responsible for disputes between users or outcomes of interactions or transactions. Any agreements made between users are their sole responsibility.

14. Intellectual Property Rights

The App and all of its contents, features, and functionality (including but not limited to all information, software, text, displays, images, video, and audio) are owned by Majordome, its licensors, or other providers of such material and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, transmit, display, or otherwise use any portion of the App without our prior written consent, except as expressly permitted in these Terms.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Majordome and its officers, directors, employees, and agents harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from or relating to your use of the App, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

16. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL MAJORDOME, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, EVEN IF MAJORDOME HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

17. Changes to the App

Majordome reserves the right to modify or discontinue the App (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modifications, suspension, or discontinuation of the App.

18. Feedback and Suggestions

Any feedback, comments, or suggestions you provide regarding the App may be used by Majordome for any purpose without compensation to you. By providing feedback, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use such feedback.

19. Severability and Waiver

If any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. No waiver of any provision will be effective unless in writing.

These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Majordome regarding your use of the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
