Overview

Majordome helps members of private communities complete a profile, answer onboarding questions, receive relevant introductions, and manage weekly matching suggestions. This page summarizes the data practices used for the App Store privacy questionnaire.

Data Collected

Majordome may collect the following data when you use the app:

  • Contact information, including name, email address, and phone number when provided.
  • User content, including profile details, answers to onboarding or daily questions, match feedback, voice answers, and profile photos.
  • Identifiers used for authentication, sessions, community membership, push notification delivery, and account management.
  • Usage data related to app interactions, onboarding progress, matching status, notifications, and service diagnostics.
  • Diagnostics such as technical logs, crash-related information, and performance information needed to operate and secure the service.

How Data Is Used

  • Authenticate users and maintain secure sessions.
  • Provide core app functionality such as onboarding, profiles, community membership, matching, feedback, and notifications.
  • Personalize matching and recommendations within the member's community.
  • Process voice answers and other profile inputs when users choose to provide them.
  • Improve reliability, prevent abuse, enforce community safety, and provide support.

Third-Party Processing

Majordome uses service providers for hosting, authentication, database storage, email delivery, push notifications, file storage, analytics, AI-assisted profile processing, audio transcription, and app operations. These providers process data only as needed to deliver the service.

Tracking and Sale of Data

Majordome does not sell personal data. Majordome does not use data collected in the app to track users across apps and websites owned by other companies for advertising purposes.
